Inspired by Italian design, yet Globally Embraced; Sleep on Green has created the most innovative, environmentally friendly mattress by combining specific elements from around the world. Without compromise, the combination of these natural elements is what separates Sleep on Green from any mattress on the market. Manufactured in Italy, the mattress is made from Mother Nature’s purest natural elements – Pure Wool, Organic Cotton, Coconut Fiber, Natural Latex, and Bamboo Fiber.

With over 20 years of research and development, the Sleep On Green team of scientists have worked to develop a mattress that is a healthy alternative to the chemical filled mattress that we sleep on today. With our team’s knowledge and dedication, we have created a mattress that truly strengthens the immune system by allowing the sleeper to live in harmony with the forces of nature.

Sleep On Green delicately chooses the finest fibers of Merino Wool at specific times throughout the year to ensure maximum quality for breath ability, lightness, comfort, and of course aesthetics. Merino Wool separates the body from viruses and bacterium created by the warm-humid environment within a mattress itself. Wool is hypoallergenic, resistant to bacteria, mold, mildew, and is also naturally fire retardant. In addition, wool evaporates moisture quickly, making it inhospitable to dust mites. Wool’s support and springiness relieves pressure points and muscle aches to promote a deep, restful night’s sleep.

Natural fabrics like Organic Cotton are incorporated because of its ability to control moisture, insulate, provide comfort, and are hypoallergenic. Cotton allows for better air circulation, which helps remove and absorb body moisture, drawing heat away from the skin and keeping the body cool and dry. Organic Cotton protects from the heat in the summer and cold in the winter by providing thermal insulation as the cotton fabric traps air between the fabric fibers.

The Coconut Fibers precisely worked within one another have an infinite lifespan. The fibers are curled forming a long rope, then are left to sit for two years. Next, the fibers are sprayed uniformly with a very thin layer of Latex allowing for constant flexibility and complete air circulation, even while compressed. To complete the process, the product goes through a vigorous sterilization and vulcanization procedure preventing the formation of any bacteria or insects from within the natural elements.

To support the layer of Coconut Fibers, Sleep on Green created two layers of variable density Natural Talalay Latex. Talalay is exceptionally breathable, and also one of the most comfortable materials available in the world. It is naturally hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant and anti-microbial, inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew. For a healthy sleep, the latex accommodates to the curve of the dorsal spine perfectly and completely. The conforming support of latex keeps the spine properly supported throughout the night and also relieves extreme amounts of pressure. Talalay latex reduces high pressure areas that shut off capillary blood flow causing a person to toss and turn. Reducing pressure helps to bring oxygen and nutrients to the bodies muscles; keeping the sleeper recharged and renewed every morning.

All these natural materials are enclosed in a Bamboo quilted covering. Bamboo is one of the strongest and softest materials in the world. It’s extremely breathable with excellent capacity of absorbing humidity. Without chemical treatment; bamboo fabric is hypoallergenic, antibacterial, and antifungal.

To complement the mattress, Sleep on Green offers Orthoflex - a natural wood base with adjustable wooden slats - that allows the sleeper the opportunity to adjust the firmness of the mattress as well as allows for superior air-circulation thus enhancing your sleep.

Every layer of the Sleep on Green Mattress is completely removable.
